Join the DFHL

If you are interested in joining the DetroitHockey.Net Fantasy Hockey League, first make sure that you have read and understand our league rules. Too often, new GMs join the league only to find that they did not understand how we operate.

Prospective GMs in the waiting list will be contacted in the order that they were added to the list when a team becomes available. Prospective GMs may move up in the waiting list by being sponsored by existing GMs. We do this to create a more stable league, as an incoming GM with friends already in the league is less likely to quickly leave.

"Cold calling" a current GM to ask for sponsorship will not be tolerated. The punishment for a first offense is movement to the bottom of the waiting list. A second offense will result in banning from the DFHL and the waiting list. The best way to prove to the league that you should be sponsored is probably to post in the DetroitHockey.Net Community Forums and build a good reputation.

Only full members of DetroitHockey.Net may join the waiting list. One way to upgrade your membership would be to post in the league forum introducing yourself to the rest of the league.
